Founded in 1882
North Ballarat Football Club was formed in 1882 and has been actively running ever since making us one of the oldest continuously running Football Clubs in Australia.
We have many opportunities for you to be involved with us including Auskick, Junior & Senior Football and Netball, Social Events and also to become a member of our fantastic Sports Club.
We have some of the best facilities in regional sports within Australia including 2 full size ovals, 2 netball courts, gym and Sports Club – not to mention we are located within Ballarat’s premier sports precinct Mars Stadium on Creswick Road.

Recent News
The North Ballarat Football Netball Club are saddened to advise members of the passing of Life Member, Ms Sue Bromley. Sue has made a significant contribution to our club over many years, following in the footsteps of her beloved mother Lorna Bromley. In recent years, Sue has been out Senior Canteen Manager, and her friendly face & sense of humour were enjoyed by all who worked with her. She will be dearly missed. The North Ballarat Football Netball Club community extends its sympathies to Gemma, Adam, Ivy and River, Jenny, Dizzy, Jess, Sam, Josh and Tom, Garry, Ros, Shaun, Lisa and Ricky, and the extended Bromley, Lockett, and Turley families. Rest in Peace, Sue
During this time of the season there is a risk that some people’s passion for their club and mates can become too fervent with the result that statements can be made on social media which doesn’t portray yourself or the North Ballarat FNC in the best manner. It is requested that no one posts on social media, statements or comments which will potentially be misconstrued as being negative or aimed to cause harm and may be linked as coming from the North Ballarat FNC or individuals within the club. North Ballarat FNC endorses the intent of the current community football social media policy, which is posted on the club website, under the club and resources section of the site, and will act according to it.
