We’re thrilled to welcome Josh Morris to the North Ballarat Football Netball Club for the 2025 season!
Josh brings with him an impressive resume:
- Former Hawthorn AFL player (2020-2023) with 15 AFL games under his belt
- 37 games for Box Hill in the VFL
- Played for Woodville West-Torrens in the SANFL in 2024
Standing at 186cm, Josh is a fast-leading, dangerous forward known for his acceleration, skills, and decision-making. With his aerial ability and marking prowess, he’ll be a key target in our forward line, consistently providing us an avenue to goal.
Senior Coach Clint Proctor shared his thoughts on Josh, saying: "He’s an incredibly talented player with great hands and a beautiful kick. On top of that, he’s a fantastic person, and we’re thrilled to have him join the club."

Sam isn’t just known as a top-quality player – he’s a brilliant clubman and leader whose respect for teammates, supporters, and the game itself sets the standard. Whenever Sam has returned to the club – whether as a spectator or player – he’s shown what being part of the North family is all about. About Sam: 👉🏼 80 VFL games for Collingwood 👉🏼 Collingwood VFL Captain in 2024 & 2025 👉🏼 Named in the VFL Team of the Year Squad in both 2024 & 2025 👉🏼 North Ballarat Junior with 114 games already under his belt across Junior & Senior ranks Sam says: "Really excited to be pulling the boots back on with North next year. Can’t wait to get stuck in with the boys over summer and see how far we can go in 2026 and beyond." We couldn’t be more excited to have Sam back in black & white. What a huge addition to our playing group and club culture!
