It is with much sadness that we share with the North Family the sad passing of Dizzy Lynch.
A much-loved personality, player, coach, mentor, parent, Life Member, and most of all a friend to many across our great club.
A great man gone too soon. Our thoughts and prayers are with Jenny, Jess, Sam, Josh & Tom. We will share funeral details when they are finalised.
Rest in Peace, Dizzy
Update: The Funeral Service for the late Mr Alan ‘Dizzy’ Geoffrey Lynch will be held at the Ballarat North Football Club, 725 Creswick Road Ballarat, on FRIDAY (November 15th 2024) at 1pm.
A Private Cremation will follow.

About Sam: 👉🏼 80 VFL games for Collingwood 👉🏼 Collingwood VFL Captain in 2024 & 2025 👉🏼 Named in the VFL Team of the Year Squad in both 2024 & 2025 👉🏼 North Ballarat Junior with 114 games already under his belt across Junior & Senior ranks Sam says: "Really excited to be pulling the boots back on with North next year. Can’t wait to get stuck in with the boys over summer and see how far we can go in 2026 and beyond." We couldn’t be more excited to have Sam back in black & white. What a huge addition to our playing group and club culture!
